Do the terms “gender affirming” and “anti-trans” change the substance of what is being described or do they just change the reader’s perception of the topic?

This video discusses the concepts of group rights versus individual rights as it concerns recently proposed bills in the US regarding hormone therapy, surgery, and so on in order to affirm the beliefs of people under eighteen about their sexual identities. The video especially focuses on the use of language to sway public opinion and ignore underlying principles that concern individual rights and legislation.
